George Soliana joined our firm in 1992. From 1978 to 1980 he worked at the Department of General Legal Affairs of the Government of the Netherlands Antilles and from 1980 to 1986 he worked at the notary office Knuf in Bonaire. Afterwards, he was appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of the Island Territory Bonaire (1986-1992). He was also an advisor for the Administrative Body of the Island Territory of Bonaire and the Government of the Netherlands Antilles and advised on the constitutional changes as a result of the separation of Aruba from the constitutional state of the Netherlands Antilles. In the aforementioned capacity he was a member of the State Commission Biesheuvel (Staatscommissie-Biesheuvel) that advised about the amendments to the Charter of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He was also the Dean of the Bar Association of Bonaire and is a past president (founder) of the Rotary Club Bonaire.
